@Paris-Charles de Gaulle

In CDG, waiting for the plane that will bring me back home.

For the first time I (unfortunately) had to spend some time in this airport and I must say: it sucks! Here's, in my opinion, why:

  • I don't know how did they study passengers flows, but  here it is a mess: a single floor for both departures and arrivals, which leads to a lot of spaces where ingoing and outgoing passengers are all mixed together. It's not a security problem, just it doesn't seem really rational and it brings a lot of confusion
  • The airport is huge, and yet there are really few shops, not too many chairs where to sit and, most important, almost 0 (zero) electricity plugs to connect the laptop.

Nonetheless, I also found a couple of pleasant things:

  • The airport is wonderfully connected with the public transportation system: buses, a shuttle to the city center and the TGV station INSIDE the airport, which is something that we should definitely copy in Milan
  • Wi-Fi is not that expensive, if compared to other airports (4,5€ for 1h)

Some of you had a different experience?
